Select™ Community Funeral Homes Inc. was founded in 1996 by Stephen and Bill MacMackin in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada. The MacMackin brothers own and operate The Brenan Group, Ltd., Atlantic Canada’s largest privately-held funeral service company and the organization on which our concept was based and where our systems have been developed and tested. Three key management systems which have grown out of the MacMackin’s experience as funeral home operators are at the heart of the Select system.
